Airport performance
& facilities
Runway 15-33: The airport can accommodate aircraft with a maximum reference code of 3C.
The airport management may allow limited traffic with aircraft requiring higher bank codes.
The runway length is 1,710 meters, with runway 33 limited to 1,500 meters due to a displaced threshold.
The runway width is 30 meters, and the runway strip width is 140 meters.
The airport's runways are approved for instrument approaches with the following radio navigation equipment according to procedures published in NOTAM:
Runway 15: Non-precision approach with NDB and RNP.
Runway 33: Precision approach with ILS, NDB, and RNP.
Runway lighting system for Runway 15: High-intensity approach lighting, simple, 420 meters in length. High-intensity runway lights and PAPI.
Runway 33: High-intensity approach lighting type Calvert, 900 meters in length. High-intensity runway lights and PAPI.
The runway and apron load-bearing capacity is limited to PCN 18. Exceptions may be granted. Air traffic control services are provided as flight control services. The airport has some environmental restrictions.
Passenger compartments and equipment are designed for up to 120 passengers.

(Please note that opening hours may be reduced during holidays).
We are an emergency airport and can open on short notice.

The airport provides emergency services during operating hours in category B4.
The airport offers JET A1 (renewable aviation fuel SAF) and UL 91. Accepted payment methods are invoice/VISA/Mastercard.

Fyrstads Flygplats AB provides ramp services as well as passenger and dispatch services.
Our passenger facilities and equipment are designed for volumes of up to approximately 100 passengers and most turboprop aircraft, but we can also accommodate other aircraft types upon request.
